Fred came to me because wanted to improve his health. He had a young daughter that he wanted to be around for. In our time, together we accomplished that and so much more.

“I came to Jared, back when I roughly weighed 250 pounds, was on 6 medications and had obstructive sleep apnea. Jared started me on a program where he met me at my level of fitness and tailored a strength and cardio program that gradually increased in intensity resulting in 40 pounds weight loss in less than a year.. He coached and stressed the importance of correct form and intensity to maximize my results. He motivated, inspired and pushed me farther than I ever thought was possible.


In the process of losing weight, I became interested in triathlons and 4 years later, I became an Ironman Finisher. To date, I have completed over 20 triathlons, 4 marathons, and currently training for my 3rd Ironman. Jared also told me that more weight would be related to diet changes. He was right and I lost an additional 20 pounds just tweaking my diet. Happy to report that I'm off all meditations, no longer a victim of sleep apnea and in the best fitness of my life.

Lifelong fitness is an ever changing process. Knowing what your body can do is an amazing thing. Sara came to me to get a little bit stronger. Together we proved that she was very strong already and that helped her gain more strength and confidence in what her body could do.

“Training with Jared is one of the best decisions I've ever made. When I started working with Jared I wasn't horribly out of shape but I wasn't strong and I'd never considered myself to be particularly athletic. He changed all of that. I built up muscles I didn't even know I had and was constantly surprised by the things I was able to do. As a petite person I was worried about building up too much muscle, but Jared had the knowledge to explain why I didn't need to worry. He helped me build a lean, strong physique that I was incredibly proud of.

 

On top of the results that I saw with Jared, the actual training sessions were fun! Working with him was motivating enough to show up at the gym at 6am amped and ready to go. We'd do themed workouts taken from a movie or TV show (such as the workout from the movie 300). Jared's fun and friendly attitude made my workouts go by that much easier and motivated me to push that much harder to get the results I wanted. He goes above and beyond to make the workouts engaging and interesting, and definitely had me laughing throughout our sessions.

 

Jared didn't confine his work to just the one hour a week we spent training together. He really invested in his clients and their success. Going on vacation? Jared will write a workout plan for your trip (who knew sprinting in and out of the ocean could be so hard?!). He'll give you homework and workouts to do on your own the rest of the week. 

 

Even almost a year after I moved and had to stop training with Jared, I still notice the changes that came from working with him. My muscles have a definition that they've never had before in my life. When I pick up a new workout routine, my body adapts quickly and the muscles respond immediately. I never have to start with the "light" set of weights again. And I also just enjoy fitness so much more thanks to Jared. It's no longer a chore, but is a lifestyle for me. I do mud runs and obstacle course races regularly after Jared suggested I check them out. I look for ways to incorporate fitness into my everyday life now. I got a lot more than I bargained for when I signed up to train with Jared, and I am so glad that I did!”
